The scientific journal Revue Plurilingue: Etude des Langues, Littératures et Cultures/ELLiC  is calling for articles to be published in the three languages, English, French and Spanish,  in its Volume7, Num.1  (June 2023) on Multilingualism and Intercultural Diversity in Didactics: Challenges and Strategies edited by Dr Faiza HADDAM BOUABDALLAH, Dr Ramzi CHIALI and Ms Amaria GUENAOUI.

Each article will have a DOI, there are no publication fees.

Submission must be related to Didactics, Language and Culture. These themes should aim at exploring different issues and challenges encountered by teachers and researchers in the realm of education; highlighting the role of language teaching in promoting innovative approaches in Language education. These approaches enable us to understand the significant roles that teachers play in disseminating good practice strategies. However, the relationship between language and culture and its implication for language teaching is undeniable since we cannot understand a culture without first learning a language. Therefore, teaching any language is the transmission of knowledge, ideologies and thoughts.

This issue will be devoted to the various readings and reflections around the issue of interculturality and identity in the context of foreign language education. As such, researchers interested in the question of the relationship between the teaching/learning of foreign languages ​​and the principles of multilingualism are invited to send their contributions according to original and innovative approaches whose objective is to shape appropriate and efficient training systems in an institutional context.

Articles between 4000 and 7000 words (10 pages maximum) may include but are not limited to:

  • Language and Society
  • Language Assessment
  • Teacher Development
