Doctoral Research in Didactics (ESP) and Language Studies: Challenges and Perspectives

Scientific Research has its norms and rules that the researcher has to abide by. Actually, doctoral students face challenges while delving deep into their research, some are related to data collection, others to methodology issues and some others related to the nature of the topic itself. The motivation of the researcher, then, remains his/her drive to move on, and of course writing the article should not be put aside nor forgotten.

In Didactics (ESP) and Language Studies, selecting an adequate case study is tricky and time demanding. Thus, conducting and writing a research are not easy steps for researchers to undergo. However, defining the right approach and sampling is of paramount importance in the field of research.

We invite doctoral students to share their experience with doctoral research, to highlight the challenges they face and of course to give us the perspectives if their work.
